Getting Started Guide
Welcome to OnlyHunts! Here’s everything you need to know to get started.
Discovering Hunts
Use the "Hunts" page, the "Map," and the advanced filters (game, location, price) to find your perfect experience. The platform automatically shows you hunts you are eligible for based on your location.
Requesting a Booking
Select your desired dates on a listing page and click "Check Availability". This sends a request to the outfitter and opens a private message channel for you to finalize details and payment directly with them.
Managing Your Profile
Your profile is your home base. Use the "Trophy Room" to upload photos from successful hunts, keep a private "Hunt Log" with notes and conditions for each trip, and manage your "Saved Searches" to quickly find your favorite types of hunts.
Choose Your Profile Type
During signup, select your role. Choose "Outfitter/Farm" if you cater to the local South African market or "International Outfitter" for a global audience.
Get Verified
Complete your profile and upload your permit document. A "verified" badge builds trust and makes your listings visible to hunters.
Manage Bookings & Your Dashboard
Your "Dashboard" is your central hub for tracking listings and recent requests. Use the "Manage Bookings" page to accept or decline requests, and use "Messages" to communicate with hunters and arrange payment directly.
The Community Forum
Create new posts, share stories, ask for advice, and reply to other members in our forum. It’s a great place to connect and learn.
Manage Your Settings
Visit the "Settings" page to update your profile details, change your password, and customize your notification preferences.
Safety & Payments
For your security, all financial transactions are handled directly and securely between the hunter and the outfitter outside of the platform. We simply connect you.
